Full product description

The Nocpix Ace L35 is the entry point into Nocpix's Ace thermal rifle scope family a 384—288 thermal scope built around the same Ace platform that powers the higher-tier H50, H50R, and S60R: a 2,560 — 2,560 round AMOLED display, a unique 1— to 3— optical ocular magnifier, Vision+ image processing, and a hot-swappable dual-battery system that lets you run indefinitely in the field. Designed to feel like a traditional day optic 30 mm tube, standard mounts and rings, familiar shooter ergonomics the L35 is the most affordable way into the Ace platform for predator and hog hunters who don't need a built-in laser rangefinder or a 640-class sensor.

The L35 is new for 2025 and joins the Ace family alongside the non-LRF H50, the 640-sensor H50R with built-in rangefinder, and the 1280-sensor flagship S60R.

The Ace family how the L35 fits

The Ace series is a four-model tiered family on a shared platform. The naming code tells you what you're getting: L = 384 sensor, H = 640 sensor, S = 1280 sensor. The number that follows is the objective lens size in millimeters. An R at the end indicates an integrated laser rangefinder.

  • Ace L35 384—288 sensor, 35 mm lens, no LRF. Entry point into the Ace platform.
  • Ace H50 640—512 sensor, 50 mm lens, no LRF. The step up to 640 image quality.
  • Ace H50R same 640—512 sensor and 50 mm lens, with the integrated 1,200 m laser rangefinder added.
  • Ace S60R 1280—1024 sensor, 60 mm lens, with the integrated 1,300-yard laser rangefinder. The flagship.

Step up from the L35 to the H50 when you want a 640 sensor for finer detail and longer reach. Step up to the H50R when you want the same 640 image quality with integrated ranging. Step up to the S60R when 1280 image quality is the deciding factor. Stay with the L35 when entry-tier pricing, 384-sensor capability, and the Ace platform's signature features are what you need.

Why the Ace platform is different

The Ace was built around feedback from hunters who wanted a thermal scope that feels like a day optic not a digital-first device with a tube housing wrapped around it. That shows up across the platform in three specific ways:

  • 30 mm tube, standard rings. The Ace mounts and feels like a conventional precision rifle scope. Compatible with bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles using standard 30 mm mounts and rings no proprietary mounting system, no learning curve from your daytime setup.
  • 1— to 3— optical ocular magnifier. Most thermal scopes use digital zoom only which softens the image as you zoom in. The Ace has a true optical ocular magnifier that magnifies the display itself, with no reticle shift and no digital zoom degradation. You get extra magnification without losing image quality.
  • Hot-swappable dual battery system. An internal USB-C-charged battery plus a removable 18650 means you can swap the 18650 in the field while the internal keeps the scope running. No power-off, no losing your zero, no missed shot waiting for a recharge. The scope runs indefinitely as long as you have charged 18650s in your pack.

The L35 brings all of that into the most accessible price point in the line.

What you get with the Ace L35

  • 384 — 288 thermal sensor with 12 μm pixel pitch, 60 Hz refresh rate. Nocpix's Gen-2 HD sensor architecture in the 384 class. Reliable target detection and identification across hog, predator, and ranch use cases.
  • NETD 18 mK. Sharp thermal contrast for clean target ID against background heat signatures.
  • 35 mm F/0.9 germanium objective lens. Sized to match the 384 sensor the F/0.9 aperture gathers more thermal signal than the F/1.0 lenses common at this price point.
  • 4— base magnification, 4—–16— total range with digital zoom.
  • 1— to 3— optical ocular magnifier extra magnification through the eyepiece without the reticle shift or digital zoom softening common on lower-cost thermal scopes.
  • Vision+ image processing system. Pairs the 2,560 — 2,560 AMOLED display with the 384 sensor for the most detailed image the L35's hardware can produce.
  • Reality+ and R+ AI image algorithm. Real-time image enhancement for cleaner edges and better target identification.
  • 2,560 — 2,560 round AMOLED display. The same flagship-tier display used across the entire Ace lineup crisp, immersive, and comfortable for long sits.
  • 8.8 — 7.0 m field of view at 100 m. Wide enough to scan a field, narrow enough to track targets.
  • 60 Hz refresh rate for smooth real-time imaging on moving targets.
  • 1,800 m detection range over a mile of heat-signature detection capability.
  • Dual battery system: internal USB-C-charged battery plus removable 18650. Hot-swap in the field for indefinite runtime.
  • 30 mm tube for use with standard mounts and rings.
  • QD mount included.
  • Manufacturer warranty (Nocpix).

Frequently asked questions

Where does the L35 fit in the Ace family?

It's the entry tier of the four-model Ace series. The "L" signals the 384 sensor tier; the "35" is the 35 mm objective lens. Above it sit the H50 (non-LRF 640), H50R (640 with integrated rangefinder), and the S60R flagship (1280 sensor).

What's the difference between the Ace L35 and the H50?

The L35 has a 384—288 sensor with a 35 mm lens; the H50 steps up to a 640—512 sensor with a 50 mm lens. The 640 sensor delivers finer thermal detail and better target identification at distance, and the bigger lens adds reach. Both share the full Ace platform same display, ocular magnifier, hot-swap battery system, image processing. Step up to the H50 when you want the image-quality jump. Stay with the L35 for entry-tier pricing.

Why does the L35 feel like a regular day scope?

The Ace family is built around a 30 mm tube housing the same tube diameter standard daytime precision rifle scopes use. That means it mounts in standard 30 mm rings or one-piece mounts, fits on bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles with no proprietary mounting hardware, and handles much like the daytime optics you're already used to.

What's the 1— to 3— ocular magnifier and why does it matter?

The ocular magnifier is a true optical magnifier inside the eyepiece that magnifies the AMOLED display itself separate from the digital zoom. The result is more magnification without the image softening that happens when you push digital zoom on a thermal scope. Most thermal scopes in this price range only have digital zoom; the Ace platform's ocular magnifier is a meaningful image-quality differentiator.

Is the Ace L35 a good thermal scope for hog hunting?

Yes. The 384 sensor handles hog body heat cleanly across the engagement distances most hog hunting happens at, the 4— base and 16— top end cover close-to-mid range work, and the 35 mm F/0.9 lens gathers more thermal signal than the F/1.0 lenses common at this price.

What about the battery system can it really run indefinitely?

Yes, with how the dual system is designed. The internal battery charges via USB-C; the external is a removable 18650. While the internal battery keeps the scope running, you can swap the 18650 out for a charged one. As long as you have spare 18650s in your pack, the scope keeps running through the swap.

Does the L35 record video?

Yes. Onboard recording is included across the Ace platform.

What mount comes with the L35?

A QD (quick-detach) mount is included with the scope. The 30 mm tube also accepts any standard 30 mm rings or one-piece mount if you prefer your own setup.

What's the warranty?

Nocpix backs the Ace L35 with their standard manufacturer warranty.
